Angry Seeing red

I've had Videotron/C&W/ntl in London since 1995. Since I've had digital TV (circa 1999), pressing the red button produces the promise that 'Interactive Services are coming soon!' - surely some new definition of soon that I was previously unaware of?

I am thoroughly fed up with ntl, especially given their latest ads which do not make clear that the services are not available to everyone (in fact, not available to a significant proportion of their customers). I'm seriously thinking about complaining to the Advertising Standards Agency as I feel the ads are very misleading.

I'm moving house soon and I am minded to abandon NTL and go with Sky. I don't like the idea of a dish but I would like Sky Plus and for something to happen when I press red - other than seeing red!

Re: Seeing red

Like with everything it is down to individual tastes and what you want from the service though I can see why it irritates you.

Good luck with the move
