Question DI4000 box stuck on nit ???

anyone have any ideas please ?
Box is stuck on nit display on front panel
have re-powered more times than I can remember but it goes no further
have also had error 11 & 16

of course, as usual, no NTL customer services available when it goes wrong !

Unfortunately it's probably going to need faults to do something about it if a reboot won't restart. Might just be a local temporary fault so see what it's doing in the morning.

But it is pants that a company that provides a so called 24 hours service doesn't offer 24 hour support

You could try rebooting while holding in the down button on the front of the STB. May get your box running until Monday.

Have you tried removing the card and doing a reboot without it?

Also give the card a clean, this might not help your situation but at leaset when NTL come round to replace the box you will have the cleanest smart card he will have ever seen!

nit stands for network information table could be a local problem or the box has died you might be lucky and get a new sammy.
