Summertime's here again
NTL are so predictable. Every time there is a change from Summertime to Wintertime or vice versa, you can bet that NTL's time for the changeover will ALWAYS be 24 hours later. All my programmes are listed one hour behind at the moment. (Time of message 16:40 hrs, Monday 27 March 2006).

Moved to NTL TV section.
Try unplugging the box from the mains, waiting 30 seconds then plugging it in again.

Re: Summertime's here again
Thanks for how to correct it, but if my computer can make the changes automatically, why doesn't the technology that NTL must have do the same?

Stuart C - Many thanks. Have just rebooted STB and all appears OK now. Still think it's ridiculous this does not happen automatically.

Re: Summertime's here again
It does correct it usually, but it sometimes takes a while..

Re: Summertime's here again
At least summer time meant for the first time yesterday they showed the final hour of Nick Toons.
(And while I'm here, how come Cartoon Network is always listed as having an 'Intermission' between 9pm and 1am?)

Re: Summertime's here again
I should give NTL credit here - I ordered a film from VOD on Saturday evening at 7.45. I watched it, then noticed on Sunday evening that I had over an hour left of rental time around 7.30
I thought 'Heh, its a bug!' Then I realised that they had added on an hour to my current rental time on Sunday to reflect the arrival of BST.

Re: Summertime's here again
BST/GMT worked fine for me this year, on both my boxes. Came home from the pub at about 4am and the changeover had happened (although the miniguide was displaying the wrong channel info - changing away and back sorted that).
The 'Intermission' on Cartoon Network annoys me, too - that's down to the listings provider (BDS), but I keep forgetting to tell the right people to get something done about it!
