Customer Services Menu?!?!?

In the help menu (well, MY help menu), there’s text going on about options like a ‘Customer Services Menu’, which, among other things, allows me to view my bill; run diagnostics on my STB; alter my telephone options; alter my channels; view messages from NTL, etc etc!!!

Now, WHERE do I go to actually do any of this stuff? The help menu doesn’t actually say where I need to go (real helpful, that).

The help text implies that you're supposed to do all this fancy stuff via your STB, e.g., "Highlight the list and press SELECT to open it"

Re: Customer Services Menu?!?!?

OK, this is what happens for me:

I press HELP.

I see option 5, Customer Services. I select it.

I have the following options for that menu:

1) Products & Services
2) Hints and Tips
3) My Account Menu
4) Diagnostics
5) Install Checker

Now, if I select My Account Menu, I get the following options:

1) Tv Channels
2) Telephone options
3) My Bill
4) Messages

When I select any of those options, I get pages of help text going on about them - but there's no option to actually activate those options.

For example, 'TV Channels' describes how I can change my packages via the STB - but it doesn't actually allow me to do it.

Re: Customer Services Menu?!?!?

So is this Customer Services Menu (and the features it provides) a Bromley-only feature or what then? Anyone? Please?

Re: Customer Services Menu?!?!?

The customer services menu appears here (on Langley) but none of the features actual do anything- just text describing how to do the various different things. Perhaps something that is still in development...?

'Coming Soon', then?

Still, the abilty to change your channels, view your bill etc. via the STB would be very nice for us customers, as well as easing the workload for the call centre staff. Everyone would win.
