hi guys, as i have said in another thread im getting tvdrive shortly, but i have one concern, its my tv its an lg re44sz21rd this has only component connections that take hd feed, does the tvdrive output HD on these connections?? it would be nice to hear from anybody who has this connection working so i can sleep at night!!!!

Hi, You will be able to watch HDTV through the Component on your TV, However if this is protected material that cant be recorded then you will not be able to view it (e.g Pay on Demand films)

Hi, I had mine setup through component because the Telewest engineer could'nt get the Box working through the HDMI, in the setup screen you just need to choose "HIGH DEF" and "component". Unfortunatly as I said,if the program is HDCP (HIGH DEFINITION COPY PROTECTED) you wont be able to view it on component. I managed to get mine working through my HDMI socket after the engineer left, but it was his first set up
