Thumbs up Top Job NTL

I guess it's not very often that people praise NTL, but I've been having picture stuttering which got so bad that I called NTL faults this morning. Was on hold for only 8 minutes before I was answered, and then withing 5 minutes the guy had decided I needed an engineer visit. I was told this engineer would come between 12-6pm so was expecting him late! At 11:50 the NTH engineer rang to make sure I was in and that he could come, and was here before 12:10. Pretty much he tested the signal to find it was WAY to high (needed 2 attenuators to bring it down) reset the box, made sure it was on latest level, check a few channels out, and was on his way again. Top Bloke, top service, thanks NTL!

Good to hear they got it right . This site is a little skewed as the horror stories tend to get more attention.

Have to echo this story.

I was getting broadband drops outs the CM would not connect. Called up Tech support and got through to an agent pretty quickly. Agent ran through the usual reboot then asked a few more questions and arranged an Engineer visit.

Engineer called me on the day and checked all ok to visit. (MIL was at home). He called me to say the problem was in the cab and that he would call later once fixed. He called me again once fixed and left his number incase I still had problems.
