Worryingly easy 6 months half price family pack

I just rang customer services reference this offer -

I was on the phone for 2 minutes and I should now have the family pack half price for the next 6 months.

I was already on the family pack + telephone and BB but lovely scottish Amy didn't mention any problems at all.

Recommend you try this if you haven't yet

just rang em up - the girl was bemused and had never heard of it (CSRs are normally the last people to hear about offers in ntl). Anyway, eventually I was basically told I didn't qualify as I already had the family pack

so its aimed at people not already on the family pack ?

at least they are doing offers for existing customers - the amout of times people moan about offers only being for new customers only.

im thinking of droping to the base pack anway because i dont watch half the chanels on the family pack ..... the mrs watches bbc1 and itv my son loves cbbc and im a sky news and at the races man but its a tough call as there is only Ã‚Â£8.50 diference in the price

I actually rang CS yesterday with the same idea.... Worked out i would only save approx Ã‚Â£6 p/m so i left it as it was in the end.

offers like this do come along - last summer they were offering 1m broadband for £9.99 for new customers on a flyer. myself and many others here managed to ring up and get the deal but some people were declined - it was just dependent on who you spoke to at NTL.

I phoned up on Monday to do this. I phoned the sales number as directed by the announcement. The sales lady told me that I was not eligible for this offer, but she would give me a Ã‚Â£11/month discount. I said thank you very much and we ended the call.

Once I have had the next bill, and confirmed the discount is in place, I will phone customer services and see if I can get the half price family pack as well.
