Second STB

I was wondering, if you have an extra STB at £15 per month will you be locked into a whole new 12 month contract or anything? say in six months time I decide I do not want the extra STB can I get rid of it?

Good question that, I'm thinking it might be 12 months but since in theory you are only really changing your total package you may find you don't have to keep it 12 months before dropping it. Marge might know.

I know when I added my second STB I was told I would not be entering into a new 12 month contract by CS and the sales department, they also gave me free install though all they did was plug it into the mains as cable was already there but that was then and this is now hense my question above.

However I use the two STB's but i'm tired of watching cartoons, and as my childeren have a tv in their room I was thinking of adding a box there but I don't know if the childeren will watch it in their room and although I don't expect NTL to come and do all the install for the sake of a months service if say six months down the line it ain't getting used I would like the option of having it removed while keeping all my other services.
