Moving House

I am moving from a Telewest area to a NTL one and wondered with the merger would it be possible to transfer my services without having to bother setting up new accounts etc, also I have only been with Telewest for les than a year so dont want to have to pay for 6 months and not use it.

Re: Moving House

I would think it best if you give NTL a ring and ask them after explaining the situation ....my immediate thoughts are that you would have to start again with NTL but till you ask you wont know....also ask Telewest if you have to serve out your contract ....

Re: Moving House

The merger isn't far enough along to affect customers in anyway yet.

Normally you will not have to serve out your contract if you are moving house to a non-Telewest area. Its not worth Telewest being picky about it when they cannot provide a service anyway.

An advantage of terminating your contract is that when you sign up to ntl for your new house you will be eligible for all the one year introductory offers.
