Re: Viewing NTL in another room
Cheaper option is to run coaxial cable from the RF out on the STB to the location of the TV in the other room. Basically just a long aerial lead, bt you will only get aerial quality. You still need a Digieye, or other remote contorl extender if you want to use the remote in another room.

you may not need the digi sender x4.
It depends on what STB and remote you have. You might be able to get away with a cheaper model

Re: Viewing NTL in another room
Assuming you use the SCART output(s) of the NTL box in the living room, you could just run standard aerial coax cable from the box's RF output, straight into the aerial input of the second telly. The cable with foil in is much better than the cheaper stuff.
No equipment needed!
Get a digieye if you want to use the remote (and buy a 2nd remote on Ebay). Alternatively, use Human Legs version 1.0 to change channels.
Oops - I've just become Rob C's echo.

Re: Viewing NTL in another room
Wow thanks for the response guys.
Im not that bothered about changing channels but running a lead is a big No as the misus will kill me running it through the hallway.
The STB i have is a DI4001NC with the blue remote. Ideally im looking for a cheap wirelesss option is any is available.
But many many thanks for all the recommendations and help.

Re: Viewing NTL in another room
I have another way, if you can use a splitter and 3 legnths of satelite grade coaxial assuming you have ntl broadband, ypu can split the cable connection into to and get a f barell to normal arial input converter and run it into the tv and get certain free chanells.
Thats what my freind did and his kids have nickelodeon in their rooms.

Re: Viewing NTL in another room
I've got a Pace 4010 which also uses the blue remote and it works fine with the cheaper video sender systems - even the £19.99 Welltech version currently on sale at Lidl. Don't recommend the picture quality on this, though.
Maplin's has a number of different systems from £39.99 upwards.
