dtv acting up in glasgow
has anyone in the glasgow area dtv been acting up in the last few weeks. by acting up i mean freezing picture breaking up and such
or is it just me

All the sky channels on the ntl platform seems to have gone even though theres sound..........
Nice time when your trying to watch eddie guerreros tribute show

Same here in Huddersfield, Also trying to watch the WWE Raw Show

Looks like there has been a firmware update guys, try rebooting yourr STB, worked for me.

Well i goit the update at 2:20am rebooted the box and got nothing, went to bed and woke up and the tv channels came back on. however on my other box in the livingroom, wich was rebooted this morning seems to be stuck on the update screen......phoned up ntl cs and they tried resending a signal or whatever they do but still no joy, was told a tech guy will be round tomorrow between 1-5pm
I was wondering if i could ask for a samsung box to replace this faulty pace box ?

Too add to it, The thing is making a huge bleeping noise

had csr out today to look a box seems better just slight pause now and then not as bad as it was thank god
no reason for bad picture though

The ntl tech guy came out and replaced the pace box with a samsung box, pace box was burnt out (his words not mine) My brother asked the guy if the other two boxes could get replaced, he said no as they are not dealing with samsung boxes due to the cost however he did go on to say that they were cleaning up the old pace boxes and sending them out.
