Pace 4001 Box problem.

Hi Guys,
My box recently updated itself, and apart from a few minor gliches it went ok. However, it has just tried updating itself again and has lost the plot. It displays the blue update page and the display on the box scrolls through lots of numbers, the screen eventually goes to black before then displaying the blue update page and going through the same number scrolling, occasionally showing nit and pdld (i think). Basically, no picture whatsoever. I've tried unplugging the box for 5 minutes, but it repeats the above and it won't let me reset the box by pressing the buttons on the front (as mentioned in the sticky thread.)
Does anyone have any idea what may resolve this, short of calling NTL?

I'm afraid your box is dead. You'll have to ring ntl to get it swapped. Faults are now open on Sundays, if that helps.
