can I check the NTL cable TV service

Hi all

Is there a link where I can check the NTL cable TV service…..I can only find one on the NTL site in relation to internet net.

We live in the SN3 area and our TV has been down ALL Day…the missus phoned around mid day and the automated response said they knew there was a problem in our area and were dealing with it……………..but from 7.30 this morning …come on.

marge works for ntl so I would guess she checked an internal system.

Earache for a start……………..have YOU ever had the phone to your ear for that period of time……………plus the music and repetitive message alone would do your head in………………also I do have a life………………I pay good money for a service and don’t expect to have to hold the phone to my ear for an hour in the hope of getting a reply..and FREE..I should think so………………†¦Ã¢â‚¬Â¦..after saying all that we have now both been on the phone for over half and hour between us

yes i've had to be stuck on hold before ages... Its about the only time the speakerphone function on the phone gets used

Hummm……something’s happening….over the last 20 mins the set top box has changed from tune…..to a set of numbers ……..then to pace…..more numbers….and then tune again………………â⠂¬Â¦.then nothing for a while so turned power off and rebooted but stuck on pace

It's trying to download the software from the broadcast, but doesn't seem to be able to save it, which sounds like a problem with the memory in the box. At least you've got a nice quick engineer appointment!
