Telwest Digital - Video sender

Ive used a scientific atlanta stb on my main TV and used and video sender to watch on my bedroom TV, this also enabled me to change channels in my bedroom.

This week I upgraded to digital, and now have a PACE box. The TV works fine using the videosender, although I am unable to use the remote in my bedroom.

What do I need, in order to be able to use the remote in my bedroom?

The Telewest Pace boxes require an IrDA compatible remote sender or videosender. You can buy AEI ones at Argos or Maplin. Full details of AEI models here:

If you already have the sender, a cheaper solution is to put a Red-Eye Translator on the STB. See this Section of the FAQ for info on senders etc.

I use 2 Philips freeview remotes all the time - work fine, and control the TV OK. Only problem is batteries tend to fall out when it falls off the bedside table onto the floor..
