New to NTL
Just moved to ntl for the tv and being installed on thursday, decided on the family pack and was advised i could have sky sports for a year free, put through to the new connections department and they want to charge me,so one says one and somebody else says something differant.
All i get out of the c/s deparment is cost you 13.50 more but i thought it was free any advice as i'm lost before i even get it installed.
Thanks

Re: New to NTL
I can confirm the offer as I've just signed up for it
I was on the Base Pack (£11 per month) and signed up for the Family Pack (£19.50 ) and now I get Sky Sports 1, 2, and 3. Had I just added Sport to my Base Pack I'd be paying £31 per month but this way I get more channels and saving nearly £12.
If this works then it's a win/win offer

Re: New to NTL
You do however need to have a phone deal aswell... I subscribed to the Talk Unlimited Local & National calls (£6 extra per month) and got the free Sky Sports.

No idea but - and sadly I have to say I should have seen this coming - I still haven't got the channels yet after I was told they'd be on within 2 hours
Still, I'll report them to ntl and hopefully get the guilty party in trouble

Re: New to NTL
There was a delay in 'hits' for channel changes etc getting to STB's in langley fanchises earlier today, so you may find that they appear overnight! hopefully...

Re: New to NTL
Yeah, I'd much rather get the channels overnight than have to deal with this in other ways.

Re: New to NTL
Update:
Guess what? I still don't have my full channel line up.
Looks like I've got the Family Pack but only Sky Sports 3.
Each time I've called CS I get told to "reboot the box, then you should have the channels in about 2 hours"
And I still don't have Sky Sports 1 or 2
Well done ntl - I accept that sometimes mistakes happen but I guess I'd be a lot more angry if I'd ordered the channels to watch something that was on today.
