Hi, have just bought a new tv and used your site to help me connect everything. thanks.I must say that your explanation was so much easier than any of my manuals, well done. I only have one problem now. My dvd player works on AV1 but I get sound from BBC1, what have I done wrong, my dvd manual is no help at all.

Im not sure I understand your problem,the only sound you should get should be from the DVD you are playing,are you saying thats when you pick up BBC sound?
It is just a plain DVD player you have and not a DVD recorder by any chance ?
