Quick TV sharing question.
Yes yet another fool who can't sort this problem out Right bit of background for ya i currently have the NTL analogue cable setup with the Jerrold Box thing which does a great job but its getting expensive to have analogue now so i want digital (yay!). The only reason i haven't switched is in my current setup the Jerrold box feeds 2 other TV's channels 1-5 and the channel on the box at that time. Its my understanding that if i switch to digital i will only get the channel thats on the box at that time, is this right? I read another post about the whole thing and got very confused. All i want is my current setup to work under digital what u reckon chaps?
Signal Route:
Cable Box > VCR > Signal Booster/splitter > TV
Many Thanks

Re: Quick TV sharing question.
Do you have a standard terrestrial aerial?
If so, connect that into the RF-Input on the set top box (stb) and split the signal that comes from the RF-Output on the stb. You will get all 1,2,3,4+5 to select normally and the NTL signal too.
edit: if you don't have a standard terrestrial aerial, please ignore my message and I hope you get your TV sorted.

Re: Quick TV sharing question.
Depending on which franchise you are under, you may be able to get a RF-By-pass fitted to the STB so everything will be as is.BUT you MUST ask the salesprat & the INSTALLER!(he's the guy on the ground & has,to coin it,the final say!)

Re: Quick TV sharing question.
I would imagine as NTL supply services to places where getting Sky etc is not possible (flats, etc) then its possible they would offer this out.
