Help! No sound

Hey all

I am having problems with my cable TV. I have split the NTL box signal to enable me to watch the cable channel upstairs etc. NTL came to change my box a few weeks ago & since then I have a perfect picture - but no sound on on my upstairs TV. It is really frustrating, I have checked all the connections etc & have no idea what the problem is!
NTL do not want to know as there is no problem with the main box, but quite honestly I am considering getting Sky just to have something that works.
Any ideas? :-)

Re: Help! No sound

If a DVD player is connected to the STB VCR SCART socket then check that it is in standby mode whilst viewing the second TV.
When in RGB loopthrough mode the STB will continue to modulate video from it's DTV decoder onto it's RF output, but the sound will be from it's VCR SCART input, which is only silence when no disc is being played.
