Recordings have disappeared

Hello, can someone tell me why films etc have disappeared from my recordings on my V+Box it seems almost everything has been deleted not by myself or anyone else, thanks Suzie.

Was it getting full up, if so the V+ box automatically starts deleting old stuff, unless you set it to ask first. If not, then could be a fault with the box. Had one myself a couple of years ago, and the box got swapped out for a new one.

My V+ box has never deleted old programmes when it gets full - it just displays a message saying that there is no space. Having said that, I haven't used it much since getting the TiVo, so I guess they may have changed it.

Thanks for your reply i will check that, it deleted about 30 programmes so annoying, Suzie.

I just checked and its set to not delete programmes so i guess it may be faulty, i don't suppose there is any way to retrieve them, many thanks Suzie.

It's likely your box is faulty. Give VM a call.

There's a chance that rebooting the box will bring them back. But if not, they are lost I'm afraid.
