Seen this type of thing from Virgin before. Looks like another one of their clangers.

Re: F1 HD channel

Well, some races are available in HD on the BBC, so it's not completely wrong. Just needs a nifty text edit.

Which is a good thing, I pay Sky £10.25 a month for the HD pack you get it free. I'm sure if 4 million tv customers ring in and offer VM £10.25 a month extra you would be surprised at the amount of new HD content you would get.

Unfortunately you all want free HD so you have to forsake some content, that's just a fact of life. Just like freesat doesn't have content because it's free.

Re: F1 HD channel

I accept fewer hd channels and no extra charge, albeit we are in reality paying for those hd channels we do get, because the majority of them are only on the xl pack. I think the hd offering on Virgin is a good compromise between very few hd channels for nothing on freeview/freesat and loads for a tenner on Sky.

Well the amount of VM customers on here constantly crying about greedy sky withholding HD content but yet completely ignoring the fact Sky customers pay £10.25 a month for the extra HD makes me think I would rather pay more for better content.

Like has been said VM customers are happy to pay less to get less.

I pay £7 per month for the privilege of not getting Sky Sports 3, 4, F1 in HD (does seem that SKY could be described as greedy)

I thought the £7 was the price set by the regulator and not Sky
