V+ Volume code please help
Hi Guys, can someone help me with finding the right code for my new tv,
TOSHIBA 40BV701 Full HD 40" LCD TV.
I have tried a number of codes, with no luck.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks alot.

Re: V+ Volume code please help
Have you tried the automatic scan through all codes? How you do it will depend on which V+ remote control you've got. See http://help.virginmedia.com/system/s...ontrol%20Codes for instructions.
ps. Welcome to the forum!

Re: V+ Volume code please help
You have to keep pressing a button until your TV goes into standby. Which remote do you have?

Re: V+ Volume code please help
Ok, use code 0010, and just let go of the button when your TV goes into standby.
Though if it is a recent TV model it is possible there is no code for it. Unfortunately TV manufacturers have a habit of inventing new remote codes instead of reusing their existing ones.

Re: V+ Volume code please help
You should turn the TV back on first. It will go off again when it finds the next matching code.

Re: V+ Volume code please help
Turn the TV on - it doesn't matter how. Then repeat the remote programming. It should restart at the point you last got to.
