V+ remote, help needed
My V+ remote has started doing funny things today.
If I try to change the channel to BBC 1 by typing in 101 in the remote, the screen goes blank and I'm taken to the TV guide.
If I try to change the channel to SKY Sports News by typing 515 in the remote, the screen goes blank and I'm taken to the Search facility page.
My remote isn't letting me type in numbers to change the channel, instead it's jumping me straight into the Virgin TV menu. What can I do to stop this?

Oh dear, it's started happening again less than 24 hours after putting in new batteries. Also noticed other buttons on the control seem to have lost their function too.
I've not dropped the remote control or anything so I'm not sure why this is happening. Will Virgin send me a new one if I ask for one?

Dirty battery contacts, maybe? But anyway, yes they will send one out if you ring.
