Season 1, Episode 1..."Previously on Battlestar Galactica"
Apparently, not only do I have the thrill of searching my listings for this show- (it is hidden) I also have the fun in guessing which one might be the first episode, because it certainly isn't the one listed as episode 1! Somebody has complained about this on the Community forum, but the VM staff are so helpful that they haven't once replied in 6 days!

And halfway through episode 1 it jumps to the second half of episode 2, and halfway through episode 2 it returns to the second half of episode 1. Confused? you will be... now if only they would put Soap on the On Demand...

Re: Season 1, Episode 1..."Previously on Battlestar Galactica"
I did not, oddly enough, I assumed episode 1 season 1 would be the first episode!
This makes sense after reading a post in the other forum though, but it still doesn't look as though I will be able to watch it. Here is one of the posts:
"Did you get the impression that episode 2's story starts halfway through, then, midway, jumps back to what should be the first part of two parts? As if two episodes have been spliced into one but the wrong way around?"
I just won't bother.

Is this part of the show, or another case of VM royally dogging it up?

I tried watching EP1 and as you say it just jumped, I did not bother to look further. It looks like they are having trouble answering customer queries on he VM support forum , but that is what happens when you make experienced staff redundant.

i know sky are doing the re-run of BSG on sky Atlantic (upto s4e18)and they only started with s1e1, so i think thats the reason you can not find the mini series on virgin, i am getting tivo installed tomorrow so i will watch it, and tell you if it is a cock up or not,

I seem to have lost interest all of a sudden, well done VM!

So according to several online sources and indeed, other VM customers, we should also have the mini series in our US Boxsets folder. I can't find it even by using search!

The mini series is in the same folder as BSG series 1. I had the same issues as above. Channels/US Boxsets

Re: Season 1, Episode 1..."Previously on Battlestar Galactica"
Confused ! Not unlike Virgin to mess up episodes in on demand-any idea where I should start here?
---------- Post added at 11:19 ---------- Previous post was at 11:07 ----------
The mini series was broken apparently and has, as a result, been removed from od! I wasn't too fussed but thought I'd give it a go - not sure I see the point of starting something that's had the beginning taken away, so I shan't bother either.

Re: Season 1, Episode 1..."Previously on Battlestar Galactica"
The mini series is not part of Season 1 and is not sold with the s1 boxset (unless it has changed now). I would stick with it I had never seen the mini series when I stared watching from the 1st episode it is easy enough to pick up and a very good show. It may limp past the finish line at the end but other then that it is superb.

Well the problem I have is that it isn't even in a folder. The only thing in my US Boxsets is Heroes seasons 3 and 4. Neither does it show up in the sci-fi category when I search by genre. When I search by A-Z, it's not there either. It's not in What's New or What We're Watching. The only way I can find it is by typing in, so once again, I am back to square one with the shoddy OD service which I reported 13 months ago. Every month the same thing happens. Sick of it.

Just avoid the last episode of season 4 - or, if you're determined to watch it, brace yourself for disappointment.

It's been taken off at the providers request.
