Question Couple Of Quick Questions

Question 1

Mrs Grim was watching Eastenders on catchup the other day and picture quality was 'soft' and HD and even 'softer' on SD.

So, the other day I recorded Eastenders in HD on both the Tivo and the V+, as expected the picture quality was good. I then checked the same episode on the catchup - the Tivo was 'soft' the V+ was as good as the recording.

Is this just me, or is it due to VM/BBC using a lower quality on the Tivo iPlayer app?

Question 2

Catchup on Demand on the Tivo (must admt havent checked the V+), if I choose All Genres, the lifestyle and documentaries have been grouped together in one category, but it's also full of radio (radio 4 etc). At the same time the radio category is empty.

Again is this just me or this a know fault/feature?

Any advice or comments would be welcome.

Cheers

Grim

answer 1 : I suppose it's open to debate on the quality of picture, had no problems myself.

answer 2: I believe it's a fault/bug

Suppose I'll just have to accept this is the Future Of TV afterall, and tell Mrs Grim to use the handy record funtion offered

Not sure, only know it's a fault/bug. Sorry.
