Why would I as I do not have SKY and nor do I ever intend getting their services fitted, tried it once and got out of the contract after 3 months as they were useless, once bitten never again, the same goes for BT.

3 set top boxes in 3 months, phantom dialling and up to 10 day wait for an engineer, the longest wait I have had for a tech with Virgin Media is 3 days.

That is your opinion which you are rightly entitled to , can't really blame you seeing your on a staff deal , my experience was completely the opposite but it would be a boring life if we all agreed.

Wow you were unlucky, I never had a problem with sky when I was with them 14 years ago, my mother is still with them and has never had any real problems.

Re: Sky One - Stella issues

Our box has been going strong for 7 years, but does this thread have anything to do with STB reliabity? I thought the OP was about a transmission fault on Sky One?

My experience of SKY was well before me being employed by Virgin Media.

I was happily watching Stella when it went off, first we had the loss of sound on HD so we switched to the SD channel and then without any warning the Simpsons kicked in.
