Tivo slight pause and picture break.

Hi guys and gals, i've had my tivo for about a week and for the most part, im happy with the little box. After a couple of days , i noticed that when changing to a hd channel, i get a slight pause followed by ever so slight picture break up.This does not happen all the time but is becoming a little annoying. I never had this with my V+ box ,which has been moved upstairs and still does not suffrer from this. Do you guys think im being a little fussy? it does not happen after initial pause/breakup but i still think it is a little strange.Any input would be welcome.

Re: Tivo slight pause and picture break.

I get it when a recording finishes (on a channel I'm not watching). The info bar displays at the same time.

I think everyone has mis-understood your question.

You are talking about freezing on HD channels when you change channels, others here seem to be talking about the freeze when TiVo starts to record the channel you are watching.

Re: Tivo slight pause and picture break.

Digital Fanatic, One person said this but other post did not say anything about recording. Don't mean to be rude but have you got any thing to say on the subject or are you here to confuse the subject?

Re: Tivo slight pause and picture break.

You might have a borderline signal. Give VM a call and get them to check.

Re: Tivo slight pause and picture break.

Doesn't happen for me on a channel change, which as Digital Fantastic pointed out, was what you were asking about. I have a 1 tb Tivo but can't believe that would make a difference.
