This is why I don't rely on Catch-Up TV

Match of the Day 2 aired on Sunday. Thanks to TiVo deciding that my MoTD Wishlist shouldn't work any more (that's a long story), I missed it.

Its now Wednesday. MoTD 2 is still not available to watch from iPlayer.

There are programmes which aired after Sunday which are available to watch via Catch-Up - why not MoTD2?

Re: This is why I don't rely on Catch-Up TV

I never rely on Catch-Up TV for anything. I try to make sure everything I want to watch from BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 are covered by series links or manual record. I only ever use Catch-Up TV to watch things that myself and TiVo have missed. Programmes I don't usually watch but have been recommended to me.

If it MoTD 2 doesn't appear you might just have to watch it via iPlayer:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...12_15_01_2012/

Not an ideal solution but better than missing the programme full stop.

Re: This is why I don't rely on Catch-Up TV

There could be a rights issue preventing the BBC putting it on the Cable iPlayer

So why the Catch-Up logo for it on TiVo's EPG?

Yeah, I will probably do that now, eager to see the Swansea vs Arsenal highlights. I did check iPlayer web site last night but the highlights weren't up then, so thanks for the link.

Re: This is why I don't rely on Catch-Up TV

Match of the Day is never on iPlayer due to rights issues and MOTD2 is delayed until Wednesday on all platforms due to those same rights issues.

Blame your favourite enemy Sky for this marvel in screwing people over.
