Buy CD, rip to FLAC and have a nice lossless copy of your CD then convert that to a high quality mp3. Flac for my home system and high quality 3pm for my portable devices.

Re: Netflix OMG OMG OMG OMG
I suggest Virginmedia pull out all the stops and get Netflix on TiVO soon. If TiVo have Netflix I would order 2 tomorrow and cancel Sky.
Instead I'm looking at getting a couple of either "Roku", "WD Live" or a "LG ST600".
The advantage of one of the above is the ability to change the DNS to access the USA version of Netflix. Which has MASSIVELY more content then the UK version as Sky has all the rights to anything worth watching in the UK.

Cable Broadband, Even you were new to cable once. If I still have this name is 3 years and I'm still posting here I get the feeling you will still feel need to post replies like that.
Common sense really is not all that common.

Re: Netflix OMG OMG OMG OMG
Why would an app you can already access through three things in your house make you get a Tivo?

Its way of having normal TV and Netflix on one device without having to change HDMI inputs and starting a second device. So it would be great in the bedroom.
I have a Smart TV and a connected bluray player but the Bluray player is also the surround sound so moving that envolves unplugging 6 speakers everytime then reconnecting. An the Smart TV si the main TV so moving a 46" TV up and down stairs every night/morning could be bothersome.
So a TiVo or 2 replacing Sky multiroom boxes in bedrooms with Netflix enabled would be great.

Re: Netflix OMG OMG OMG OMG
If you want access to US netflix in your bedroom then I can't imagine an official app on a Virgin Tivo would be the answer?
If you think Sky have the UK rights to "anything worth watching" then you're looking for an illegal work around and I don't think Virgin will ever be able to give you that (apart from the fact that you'll be misusing their broadband product, of course).

I used both LoveFilm and Netflix on my xbox and i have to say for the extra £1 Netflix walks all over Lovefilm for content
So i will be staying with Netflix for streaming now ... Good bye lovefilm, they only really had films from the 90s and 80s anyway

It would also gain access to Netflix only shows , it's great to see them developing their own content
