Could a VM staff member please confirm?

A while ago I asked if it was possibe to get tv M+ with BB only (and no VM landline) and the answer was no. I had a call from VM today offering me Tivo but the lady said I could havei it with M+. I clarified and she said as she is part of the outbound team she can make the order for M+ only.

I was under the impression this is not possible as the system does not allow it (neither does the website)?

Re: Could a VM staff member please confirm?

It's always been available with M+, it's not available on M (not plus)

It's M+ and Broadband you can't have together without a phone. Minimum TV with broadband and no phone is L

Re: Could a VM staff member please confirm?

Sorry I should have worded my post better. I only have BB with VM. The lady that called said that she would give me three months free XLtv and Tivo after which I can downgrade to M+. I said M+ and BB aren't available together to which she replied her department does have the authority to issue M+ tv for BB only customers.

So I don't think this is true and if I were to sign up I would be stuck with L or XL after the free period?

Re: Could a VM staff member please confirm?

Even if you could get M+ and Broadband, it would cost the same as L and Broadband, so there is no advantage

But it's not possible on the system as you can't complete the order, it has to be L or XL

Re: Could a VM staff member please confirm?

She actually said the M+ would be for the usual discounted price of £6.50 + Tivo charge. Which is what made me suspicious that it wasn't true.
