If they simply enabled DLNA on the Tivo then there would be no need for the additional hardware and it would work for TVs as well as tablets and phones. Like James says, they won't do it in the UK, more's the pity.

How great is that? Streaming and download to device. Really, really hope VM get the UK channels to allow this.

VM won't even allow streaming between Tivos of BBC channels, let alone anything from a channel that might object, like Sky... can't see this happening in the UK at all.
