CH105 on VM

Any reason why I am noticing the occasion intermittent glitch while watching CH105?

I see a slight glitch on screen together with a loss of sound for a split second.

I have used the SD prefix here even though I am using an HD STB using scart as I don't yet have HD TV

No other channels are affected.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the testing for the CH105 + 1

Re: CH105 on VM

It's probably a signal problem. You'd need to report it to the VM faults team.

Would that require a tech visit you think? as it's funny how the other channels are okay.

It would need a tech. Probably some other channels are affected too, but you don't watch them.

Meanwhile, why not watch 5HD instead? You'll get a better picture even on your SDTV.

But I have it connected with a scart and not an HDMI cable, will that matter?

I have heard that if it's ok at the time theres nothing they can do, that's why I am trying to record the issue which I now have on DVD.

---------- Post added at 23:43 ---------- Previous post was at 23:36 ----------

I tried CH150 which is the HD channel and it sounds and looks much better, and that is with it connected with a scart.

Now it will be interesting to see if the initial issue remains.

---------- Post added at 23:48 ---------- Previous post was at 23:43 ----------

I will wait and see if I find that this may have fixed the issue as I don't really want a tech coming to possibly muck up the frequencies if I just use the HD channel like you have said then that should be fine.

Thanks for that advice on using the HD channel instead.

Are you using SD or HD for CH5?
