Well l think we have seen many times over the last few years how Sky does its business and l suspect nothing will change much unless we have a stronger regulator who are prepared to bare their teeth more.

Yes it seems Sky wanted shot of current for its own reasons and used its usual methods.

It's a tough one to take if it's a channel you watch however judging by the viewing figures Sky obviously feel their sub money is best spent elsewhere.

It was more popular than some other channels in the Entertainment packages last time I looked. I think part of this is political with Murdoch

According to Jane Mote currents MD out of date viewing figures were used to justify Skys stance Muppetman.

Yep you must be right, of course we ignore the millions and millions of pound Sky has been pumping into current tv for years and years. Forget that without Sky current would of gone years ago.
Forget Sky only ever lost money through current tv,
Ahh well I'm sure Virginmedia are going to offer to fund Current now, or any other media company platform or provider will be just waiting to jump in and pour millions of pound at a loss into a money losing tv channel.
Yep this is nothing to do with the economic climate its pure and simple evil nasty Sky.
