ESPN Channels free on Virgin Media this month.
From January 7th ESPN, ESPN HD, ESPN America and ESPN Classic will be free to all Virgin Media viewers to until February 4th on Virgin Channels 529, 530, 531 and 533. (Info on On Demand Preview Channel.)

I imagine if Apple could buy all the rights (providing that is 'allowed') they will. They're not going to play second fiddle to anyone and they have the money to do it.

Well then if the story is true, which I don't think it is, they will do just as Sky does and try and get as many games are they are legally allowed to. I can imagine ESPN (UK) closing if it is true though.

If true it would not just be ESPN. Sky would be dead in the water without EPL.
