Rarely watch on demand. They're repeats and catch up. With Tivo's 3 tuners, whishlists and series links that continue from season to season, who needs catchup?

And there there are several other good reasons for people to join Virgin

I've never denied them and it's why I'm with VM. But to not admit that Sky is better from a TV perspective is crazy IMHO.

Well lets be kind to you today and lets say they have 1500 hours of on demand at most so that still leaves them trailing Virgin quite considerably in this department.

Far too busy spending time online bragging about what they have. Strange mentality.

VM have got to be careful not to kill off the demand with this new £5 charge per Tivo box. Next quarters result should be interesting!

Very interesting, there must be loads of customers who aren't that far away from the end of their TV contracts. I get the impression that VM are overestimating the appeal of TiVo. Its good but not £5 per month per box good and, lets face it, there's no longer any other option for VM customers who wish to record content.
Add on the price rises and BT and Sky getting fibered-up (and VODed up in Sky's case), and I think VM may be in for a nasty surprise for the next quarter's results.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin TV (2012) Vol. 1
With Sky starting to roll out Fibre Optic Broadband should VM worry about this, what i mean is once they have completed this then they can get upgrading the speed like VM do so they will then be no longer a threat to Sky?
