having tivo and v+

hi all.
i currently have a v+ and a set top box in the same room , anyone know if i can replace the set top box with tivo and have the best of both worlds?

V+ and TiVo use the same remote control codes, so if they are in the same room you may find the remote operates both boxes at the same time. (Maybe you have this problem already, depending on which model your other box is)

l have a Tivo and VHD box in the same room and l have found if l place the second TV and VHD box in the right spot in the room then the remote does not affect the other box and vice versa.

Yes l do Hugh and its because l love my sport and love a bet and the problem is with one TV you have to turn over all the time so my partner agreed to a second TV in the same room. so l can keep a eye on unfolding events.

If the TiVo and V remotes do conflict an option is to use the android TiVo Commander app, if you have a smartphone. You can then use the phone to control TiVo rather than the remote.
