No remote recording!
The option to remotely set recordings from the web app seems to have been removed. At least on mine there is no option to set a recording. I have signed in and set my region.
Anybody else.?

Crazy timing I was trying to set a recording from my iPod touch, when I logged into virginmedia.com/tvguide it said I was successful but when I went back to the tvguide it said I need to log in

Re: No remote recording!
I've never used remote record web option, but after a busy day out the house on wednesday I tried using the TiVo Commander Android app over someone else's WiFi via my personal VPN to record a random episode of something, and can confirm it works perfectly.
Little harder to get it working over 3G though... something about the way it works means you don't see the tick next to the thing you've set to record which means that it won't record, of course.

Tried again today but still not giving me the option to record. I have tried my iPad and iMac to no avail. On my Android phone it does give me the option to record but comes back with a message that there is a technical hitch.

Hi Fixerman
Try and download the free Dolphin HD browser for the iPad, the problem I had that it would not allow me to log on as a TiVo user, saying there was a technical glitch come back later
I tried the above browser and with a number of goes got to set TiVo recordings! VM it is a great product that you got in TiVo, but it would be even better if you can remove these remote recording gremlins!!!
