Virgin Media Player
Hi.
On my PC, I can get this programme:
http://www.virginmedia.com/player/#/...cial---round-3
European Rugby special. Broadcast 2 days ago.
Can I get this programme on my television at all today?
Thanks

Re: Virgin Media Player
Not all content will be available across all devices due to different rights issues

Ok. thanks.
At least it's available on the internet which is good.
The sky anytime on demand stuff is pretty poor though. Hundreds of pages of old cricket matches and 1 or 2 rugby and football matches from years ago?

Yes the sporting on demand stuff is not that good but hopefully this will get better as time goes on.

Just for a laugh I fired up my iPad to see if the Player would work and after logging in it said that they were trialling it. I must have registered ages ago for the trial because it let me in.
There are 10 channels available for me to view running about 1.5 mins behind the live TV.
I wonder when the full version will be ready?

You should post that on the virgin forums so everyone knows about it.
Edit: Why has that post now been deleted ?

Its a cover-up HD Boy and we're the only two that saw it. I'm sure we'll be able to sell the rights for a film in a few years.

Hi, could someone tell me how VMP works please?
I've logged in cllicked on the episode i want to watch, the box then says it's playing with an arrow pointing to the top of the page, but the box is BLANK!! Help! anyone know how i can view what i've selected.
P.S. I thought there would be an external pop-up box for me to "click" to play but nothing...
