Channel 5 SD pixelating in Leicester.

Channel 5 SD live in LE4 is now worse than on demand.

Is this a known problem that's come about from all the new channel launches?

It's a known problem under investigation, but nothing to do with recent channel launches.

Of course, you may a separate signal problem. How does channel 109 look?

Re: Channel 5 SD pixelating in Leicester.

spider, I also have the pixellation on Channel 5 but haven't noticed it happening on 109. Can I put it down to the known problem or do i need to do something about the fault? I dead being told my SA V+ is failing.

Re: Channel 5 SD pixelating in Leicester.

If 109 is ok, it's safe to assume it's the known problem. 105 and 109 are on the same frequency, so a signal problem would affect both.

I've noticed this too (postcode LE3) on a brand-new installation, but it doesn't seem to happen on 5HD (channel 150). Go figure!

Thanks spider. I double checked 109 last night and the picture was stable so I can stop worrying that my V+ was about to keel over.
