They must have had a change of heart, as Sky has had a ban on cable adverts for years.

Sky Sports have announced that their soon-to-launch Sky Sports F1 HD channel will include live coverage of both the GP2 and GP3 series.

Complementing the channel's coverage of every F1 session from every 2012 race, the announcement is being billed as a chance for fans to receive a glimpse into the future of motorsport with both series rightly considered to be a breeding ground for F1 drivers of the future.

How did you get that from me saying that British Eurosport may still have the right to show the races too?

Becuase they have taken sports rights from them and that is rather ironic!

Sky recognising that there is a market for people who just want F1, and not the other sports channels...

http://www.sky.com/shop/tv/sports/formula-one/

(Make up of £10.25 a month for the HD pack. No separate charge for the F1 HD channel)

Re: SKY F1 HD Channel, Any Chance?

I think Sky 'forced' VM into the all or nothing package. Makes sense as many no doubt thought 'screw this, I'm off to sky' whilst VM can claim to have F1 available. Both sides 'win'.
