ITV1 HD out of sync
Hello
I have noticed on and off that ITV1HD has picture/sound sync problems.
It's not just my box because my brother noticed the same problem on his system last night. I in SE18 and he's in SW8 so we should be on different hubs.
Today it is still out - sound is late by a couple of frames.
Anybody else noticing this?

Maybe ever so slightly although once I suspect it I usually see it regardless.

The SD version is ok - switch between the two and you really notice it.

Was like it on saturday night. I'm in the home counties (ex NTL) so it may be a national issue. Hopefully a staffer will pick this up.

It is out of sync...just... but I'm stupidly anal about stuff like this and it REALLY ****es me off...

This issue of HD channels being out of sync on occasions, will this ever to resolved? Is it normally the broadcasters or VM's fault

I meant in general, a programe I watched on Discovery HD today seemed out of sync!

It makes a programme unwatcheable.
And it is still happening at the moment - check downton abbey.

Cos if it's ok for you that suggests that the problem is with Virgin.

ITV1 HD was slightly out if sync on my Freesat box last night and tonight, so i would guess its an ITV problem.

I can't believe this is a problem with ITV? I work in transmission and I understand how these sorts of issues are recorgnised, reported and fixed. The X-factor was unwatchable on Sat night and if I was doing my job for them and it went un fixed for 90 minutes like it was then I would get a big slap on the hand and possibly even fired.
I also might add that it was fine on ITV1 SD
and the Jonathan ross show after it was the same, out of sync on the HD channel and in Sync on the SD channel
