Seems like the same flawed thinking that birthed the superhub. Our users are stupid, so lets give them something that barely does what they need.
Its embarrassing to say the least that it has taken nigh on 2 years for this app and its still not appeared

I personally think this is getting extremely embarrassing for VM, Sly have had their apps out for ages now and they are constantly updating and improving them.

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

Well they don't show their embarrassment in any way?

I must admit that ever since I came back to V/M from Sky I do miss that App. on my I/Phone.

I wonder if they would so complacent if they had other competition other than Sky?

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

There's a problem with the latest Sky+ app that is affecting many users as discussed here on the Sky forum, me included. Maybe it isn't so bad that Virgin have still to show their hand. I do however wish they'd get on with it! I'm using the TiVo US app for now.

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

3 Sky boxes and 3 TiVos, what are you, a Premier League footballer?

---

Hopefully the delay is rights deals so the live streaming portion will have a wider range of channels compared to the competition.

Very strange mines worked from the off , it allows me too see both boxes on my network. I'm on Sky BB with two DRX 890 Sky+HD STB's however my box software will be a later version than yours.

I did a forced update on my 890 and I have the new EPG "look and feel". However the iPad app I installed stopped working after a short while like for so many other people in that thread, after working initially. Was quite nice while it latest! Hopefully it won't stop working for you! Sky are investigating.

No. Old house with four floors and a TV on three of those. Quite a long way to walk between each so often find piles of "things to take between floors" on various steps. Am actually down to two Sky+ HD boxes now, one having the latest EPG, with one unplugged and basic Sky package with loyalty discount as rarely watch it. Prefer TiVo.

I'd be amazed if it did considering Sky are a broadcaster , Sky Go already has access to 32 channels in the entertainment , kids , movies and sports genres.

I'm guessing you are on software version 49.22 , my boxes are both on 53.70 not sure whether that's an issue though as Sky have said it should work from 49.21 , I would imagine once the last few minor niggles are ironed out in the current beta software that another update will be made available possibly via the DR stream.

To bring back on topic will the iPad app for TIVO also be available on iPhone , Android etc ?

I am on 49.22. Either that or there's a bug in the app that only some iPad users are experiencing. We'll hopefully see soon!

Hello davidthornton you mention that you're still using the US app, for me that's been one of the most disappointing things about the 15.3 update.

Have you got the update?

I'd be very interested because for me the update killed the app, even keener to hear if you have you any special work arounds that could resurrect the app for me. Thanks...

I haven't been upgraded to 15.3 yet. Obviously I should be relatively soon and when I am I shall see if the current ability to use the TiVo US app is extinguished!

Was upgraded to 15.3 last night. TiVo US app no longer works. The app sees the boxes I have configured in BonjourVM but when I select a box to view I get an error message.

I can also confirm that it doesn't work on 15.3.

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

To be fair it did crash my tivo every once in a while. But it was a price worth paying! What are the chances of BonjourVM being updated? Or has anyone found another solution?
