FX channel listing wrong + pulling at top of screen on V+ HD on demand

Hi all,
I just tried calling Virginmedia to talk about this and got through to a bloke with a name I missed who sounded like a robot and didn't seem to understand me and then hung up on me!
Basically, right now for example it shows on FX (channel 157) that it's King of the Hill yet it's some other programme?
I've noticed this a few times on this channel when it's something completely different to that scheduled, is that FX changing their listings at the last minute or an error on VM's side?

Also, I have a V+ HD box which I love to bits but notice on some on demand programmes that there's pulling across the top of the screen. The Big Fat Quiz of the Year on Channel 4 is one example.
I do have it connected via Scart to a CRT TV, would this cause this at all?

Just checked, KOTH is definately on FX right now

EDIT: Sorry, I think FX is running 30 mins late for some reason O_o
They're showing the wrong KOTH that's listed

ok, we've raised the EPG issue on FX. I will look at the other issue a bit later.

Its not just FX.
The EPG details that CSI NY is on now on Five and Miami at 2140, however Five.com details that an old CSI is on now and CSI NY at 2140.
Good job I am in as I record NY on the V+ and I would have missed it.

That was probably a late change. Too late to change now, unless the programmes after are wrong?

It appears that the EPG has the CSI's mixed up as Miami is on at 2240 and the EPG shows CSI.

Can't be that late as my weekend paper lists NY as 9.40pm ie VM have had at least 24 hours to get this right

my v+ recorded the wrong csi so i missed csi ny however for those interested csi ny is repeated on five usa tomorrow at 2100 presuming that epg is correct

ok, FX should be fixed now, but FX HD may take a while to update, so may not be corrected this evening.

Is your TV putting itself into some form of 'Smart' or 'Panoramic' mode when you view these programmes? Try adjusting the wide setting on your TV and see if that helps

I don't think so, it displays in normal widescreen and seems to fill the screen ok.

I recorded a programme on my V+ box from the Sky Arts 1 channel recently called Beat Beat Beat. When I sat down to watch it I was annoyed to find it had recorded something totally different. It's happened on this channel before and also on ESPN!

Just thought I'd mention it.
