Any of the shows you used to enjoy may be moved to another channel as this has already happened with "Chuck" which was moved to Living.

Bravo ChannelOn 1st January 2011 the Bravo, Bravo+1 and Bravo 2 channels ceased to be broadcast and Bravo Player was closed following a decision by Sky who are the channel provider. This means they are not available on any TV Service including Virgin Media and Sky.

While there is no replacement for Bravo, many of the popular programmes that are currently shown on Bravo will be moving to one of Sky's other channels. Full details of which are to be announced by Sky.

Challenge JackpotThe Challenge Jackpot channel has been closed and removed from all TV services including Virgin Media and Sky. This decision has come from Sky who are the channel the provider and not Virgin Media.

Neither of these changes will affect any of the other channels you have in your TV package and there will be no change to your TV pack price; you will still be able to enjoy lots of great TV content including popular entertainment channels.

I didn't hear people objecting when channels were added for no additional cost...

Bravo was available to all so in essence a free channel, SKY bought the channel and decided to close it and all the SKY customers are in the same boat as all the Virginmedia customers they have lost a channel which will be the case again shortly when they close Channel One.

Now if it was a channel you actually paid for such as a sport channel then you would no longer pay the subscription for said channel, but as these channels are only included in your overall package which is subject to change as per the terms and conditions of your contract plus the is no subscription fee specific for said channels the would be no reduction in the fee.

Wonder who will pick up TNA won't be any of Skys channels I doubt will be a clash of interests cause they got WWE. Maybe channel 5 or ITV 4?

Re: whats happened to bravo channels

Seriously weakens Virgin Media position in the long run. Channel One/Virgin One etc gone Bravo gone 2 entertainment channels gone. Sky now whenever it is the contract runs out litterally hold a knife to Virgins throat under the threat of removing Sky One Two and News again which would make Virgins entertainment package very weak

When the Sky basic channels went a while back it didn't hurt virgin that much. Not as many peole left to go to sky as sky expected. I didn't miss them, I just started watching more inteligent tv like the discovery channel and found a whole load of good tv to watch.
