Wont change channel

I have had my V+ Box for just over two weeks. On two occasions within six hours, when I have tryed to change channel. The on screen menu changes has I press the remote but the picture stays on the same channel. Also when I check the tv guide it is blank.
I have contacted the faults team who have rebooted the box and stated that there is no network problems in my area. Is this a fault with the box?

The boxes are like computers and do go wrong occasionally,sometimes a reboot sorts these little things out
