Yes I had the same on both News and SS2 during the lunchtime game.

Haven't looked today yet to see if it's sorted.

Re: Sky Sports News Problem

Must admit that the PQ on the Arsenal v Spurs match on SS2 was quite shocking on saturday. The was no picture/sound break up, just the general quality of the channel. It was fine on close ups but the gantry shots looked like a bad net stream.

I watched Match of the Day that night and the picture was so much better on BBC1, strange considering the same cameras were used lol.

Any problems you were aware of DF? Area is 24, Hertfordshire.

My cynical side tells me Sky have dropped the PQ so people sign up to HD but thats another story

We didn't see a problem at VM, but it may of been a localised issue that cleared itself.

I have to agree with you the picture quality on SkySports SD football is shocking, if they are trying to encourage me to get Hd it will not work, instead I will just cancel if it continues.
As it stands BBC Match of the Day pictures are at least 50% better.

Glad I'm not the only one who has seen this.

Annoyingly, I've got SS1 on at the moment and it is a better PQ than saturdays game. Hope it doesn't stay hit and miss through the whole season.

Also, thanks DF for checking it out.

Yes the the picture is better tonight, I usually go by how clear the numbers on the players shirts are from a distance.
