Cable for SMT-2100C Box

Hi all i have a 2100C set top box ( seperate internet router) and want to move my settop box upstairs. Rather than getting a new wall socket installed i just want to buy some long cabling to do this

Can anyone give me the specs for this cable and connections and maybe suggest a retailer.. i am loathe to spend a fortune and a lifetime waiting for virgin to assist on the phone !!

Re: Cable for SMT-2100C Box

I believe RG6 does the job for the cabling with F connectors screwed or crimped on the ends, I,m sure someone will confirm shortly.

Just be aware that moving the set top box might have a significant effect on your signal levels will would require VM to come out and adjust.
