V+ box stuck on AP:52

The title says it all - V+ box stuck on AP:52

Any ideas? It's Monday and Virgin can't get an engineer out until Friday!!
England match down the pan then!

Re: V+ box stuck on AP:52

AP:52 means your box is not receiving a signal!

Check all your cables internal and external and check you F's are all tight!

Re: V+ box stuck on AP:52

It could mean that there is an area fault that is the reason there is no signal.

Your service may be returned sooner and the engineer cancelled.

Don't forget to call Faults and cancel the engineer visit.

Re: V+ box stuck on AP:52

That may be, but the sooner you cancel the sooner the callout slot can be allocated to another customer with a problem.

If it is sorted you need to cancel ASAP, because if you forget and the engineer arrives to find no fault then we will bill you £30 for a wasted truck roll.
