Virgin Media Package?
Hi All,
I got a text message this morning that i had a Virgin Media package that will be delivered to my house. As i was at work i wasnt home to get the package so am getting it redelivered later in the week.
Anyone have any idea what this package might be? The only thing ive changed on my account recently is to add Sky Sports so im really confused to what it is.

Have you got any old STB's that need replacing? An old PACE box?

Nope, i have a Samsung V+ box and my modem is fairly new as well (was only put in 2 years ago)

I have had a customer ring in with that same message after upgrading his package and when I checked with Customer Services they said it was a glitch on the system and occasionally a text goes out in error.

Masque, thanks for that but ive actually had the missed delivery notice from the home delivery network people so i think they actually have something for me unless its a parcel full of air???

You should be able to rearrange the delivery to your works address but I cannot think of anything that you would be sent.

ive re-arranged delivery for Friday - good excuse to take a long weekend! Guess ill have to wait and see.
Dont think my work would allow me to get a personal parcel delivered there.

I have managed to reduce my bill down to £72.65 p/m for the following
XL TV (HD BOX & STANDARD BOX UPSTAIRS)
SKY SPORTS (INC HD)
10MB BROADBAND
UNLIMITED CALLS (INC LINE RENTAL)
very happy with that

got the parcel delivered this morning and it turns out to be a VM Hub. Not sure why they sent it but im not going to complain. Need to find a use for my wireless router now
