V+ Remote frequency

I have my V+ box connected to my 2 TV`s (Lounge & Bedroom) via a powered HDMI splitter. Pictures are superb. My problem is that my old "One for All" remote transmitters are very intermittent.

I have found this unit:
http://www.reallycleverhomes.co.uk/a...ntrol_set.html

Which has good reviews. I have several cables already installed to extend the IR LED`s, so fitting would be a doddle.

My question is this, is this transmitter suitable for the remote signal?
Will the new V+ remote work with this unit?

I don`t want another IR transmitter / Receiver, I want a hard wired jobby.

TiA.

Re: V+ Remote frequency

Yes, that should work with the V+.

Re: V+ Remote frequency

Doesn't work, neither does the Keen IR receiver remote extender, with the standard IR receiver, going to get a wide band Ir receiver later in the week so I will re-post my findings.

Re: V+ Remote frequency

Have you ruled out sensor placement and IR interference issues?

As a test, you could see whether it works with other devices such as your TV. Almost everything, including the V+, uses bog-standard RC5 these days.
