Price for 2 x V+ HD boxes?
Have just phoned virgin to enquire about the VIP50 package, with 2 x V+ HD boxes, so we have the ability to record on 2 boxes and they quoted £122.50 does this sound right? An extra £25/month for the ability to record on a second box sounds quite excessive? Cheers.

Re: Price for 2 x V+ HD boxes?
For XL package £49 for box one £75 install for the second. £5.50 extra for second box per month.
The rest is the same above but an extra £5 is added for v+ subscription

VIP pricing works differently though.
VIP50 with two V+HD boxes would be £107.50 a month. Install would be £35 if having both boxes installed at the same time

Re: Price for 2 x V+ HD boxes?
Only looking for HD subscription on 1 box (which is included now) so price should be £103 for VIP50 with extra V+HD box (no HD subscription)? (£97.50 + £5.50 for second box subscription) or is it still £107.50 for 2 x V+ HD box with 1 HD subscription? Cheers.

Re: Price for 2 x V+ HD boxes?
It will be the price I said - £107.50
If you went for 1 V+HD box and 1 V HD box (and paid £49 to activate the HD on the V HD box), then it would be £103

Re: Price for 2 x V+ HD boxes?
You'd be paying £24 extra for 50MB over 20MB and unlimited anytime calls over unlimited evening & weekend, don't know if 50MB is that important to you. (XL package)
On XL you pay the one off for the box instead of the £10 per month on VIP, and you pay for HD for any box in your house, not per box like Sky.

Re: Price for 2 x V+ HD boxes?
BenMcr, just off the phone again and been told for VIP50 with 2 x V+ HD boxes will be £118 because of the sports & movies package having to be on 2 boxes do you know anything about this? I am speaking to a person called Craig at the moment, if this is wrong are you able to supply the details of someone else i can deal with? Thanks.

Re: Price for 2 x V+ HD boxes?
Are you trying to go for HD Sports and Movies on both boxes? If that's the case it it would be £114.50 as you only get one box covered for Sky HD premiums with VIP 50

don't have one sorry
All I can suggest is ask the call to be escalated if they can't book it on correctly

Re: Price for 2 x V+ HD boxes?
No probs mate, they are really starting to annoy me now. Phoned again spoke to someone different, ran through the same quote, again this guy knows nothing about the Premium HD being included for free with the VIP50 package, also told me the call couldn't be escalated and that i'd be told the exact same price by a manager.
VIP50
2 x V+ HD boxes
1 x Sky Premium HD (free on main box according to Mark Wilkin)
£118 :S
